Mogadishu, Somalia – The Minister of Family Affairs and Human Rights of the Federal Government of Somalia, Amb. Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi, held a consultative meeting with representatives from UNICEF and UNTMIS at the Ministry’s headquarters.
The meeting, attended by the Director General of the Ministry, Mohamed Bashir Omar, and senior experts, focused on exchanging insights regarding the collaborative efforts between the Ministry and the two UN agencies. Discussions centered on key areas of cooperation, ongoing projects, and future priorities aimed at advancing human rights and social development in Somalia.
Minister Al-Makhzoumi commended the valuable contributions of UNICEF and UNTMIS in supporting the Ministry’s initiatives and shared the Ministry’s priority agenda for the year, emphasizing the need for continued collaboration to achieve sustainable progress in human rights and social welfare.
